Owen Hatherley Talk
Owen Hatherley is a writer and journalist from Southampton who writes primary on architecture, culture and politics. He has written for amongst others, The Guardian, New Statesman and bdonline. He is the author of several books including; Landscapes of Communism: A History Through Buildings, A Guide to the New Ruins of Great Britain, Militant Modernism, and A New Kind of Bleak: Journeys Through Urban Britain.
This talk runs alongside the exhibition at K6 Gallery, Brustalust: Celebrating Southampton's Post-War Architecture. Owen will discuss the buildings he chose for the exhibition and what makes them worthy of celebrating.
